Purpose of this Program
Aimed at Professionals who are involved in planning logistics, shipping operations, procurement /sourcing and who are already in supervisory or operational management level.
It is also ideal for Graduates with non-business related wanting to move into Supply Chain/ Logistics/Procurement.
This course is targeted at building strategic supply chain (logistics and procurement) competencies, giving candidates /managers the ability to formulate strategic direction and advice in areas such as logistics management, sourcing and procurement management, stakeholder management and team leadership.
Assessment / Examination Structure
Assessment is 1 assignment per module and 4 examinations.
Duration: 1 year * 12 Months
The Qualified Learner is exposed to
- The supply chain management environment within an organisation
- The management of procurement and relationships with supply chain partners
- The influence of performance and risk within a supply chain management environment
- The development of a supply chain strategy and operational plans for the organisation
- The Management and execution of a supply chain strategy for the organisation
Entry Requirements
A minimum of 5 years of work experience is required, this can be from/in any professional work environment. Alternatively, if your overall work experience is less than 5 years, you should have at least a recognised Diploma /Degree in any field in order to be admitted into any of the Diploma programmes.
